MANIPAL NEUROIMAGING CAPSULE; FROM BASICS TO ADVANCED

This Neuroradiology continuing medical education (CME) program is designed for radiology residents, practicing radiologists, and other healthcare professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge and understanding of neuroradiology. The program covers essential topics such as important neuroanatomy, various neuroradiologic pathologies, and advanced imaging useful for day-to-day practice.

  • The CME will explore the clinical applications of neuroradiology in various areas, including stroke, brain tumors, demyelination, and infections.

Dr. Trupti Kulkarni

I am a motivated and experienced Consultant Radiologist since 2013 and presently at Manchester University Foundation Trust, Wythenshawe. I specialise in breast and head and neck radiology. I have obtained my Medical Degree from the then Bombay University as a student of Grant Medical College and JJ group of Hospitals. I trained in Radiology in the United Kingdom and obtained the FRCR in 2011. I have also obtained an MS in General surgery (year 2000) from Mumbai University as a student of the Seth GS Medical College and MRCS (year 2004) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Clinical Experience:

Breast Radiology (symptomatic and screening) – one stop and assessment clinics, image guided procedures (including use of stereo, tomo and MRI) and reporting of all the above-mentioned modalities and leading MDTs

Head and Neck Radiology – One stop neck clinic, ultrasound guided intervention, CT and MRI reporting in head and neck and leading MDTs
