MRI Knee Workshop
The Manipal Hospitals Radiology Group hosted an intensive two-day Continuing Medical Education (CME) event on August 26-27, 2023, aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of medical professionals. The program was packed with insightful presentations by esteemed speakers, covering a range of critical topics in the field of radiology and orthopedics.
The topics included an in-depth exploration of bone edema patterns, the approach to focal chondral lesions, the role of MRI in osteoarthritis (OA), and detailed discussions on the medial and lateral meniscus, as well as the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and posterior cruciate ligament (PCL).
Participants engaged in interactive lectures, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and enhancing their expertise. To test their understanding, quizzes were conducted, adding an element of excitement and competition to the learning experience.
The event was not just about gaining knowledge but also recognizing and rewarding excellence. Prizes were distributed to acknowledge outstanding performances and encourage active participation.
As an added benefit, all participants received 4 KMC (Karnataka Medical Council) credit points, recognizing their dedication to professional development and medical education. This CME served as a valuable opportunity for medical practitioners to stay updated with the latest advancements in radiology and orthopedics, ultimately contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
