With over 30 years of diverse experience in the healthcare industry, Dr. Vasudha Shetty brings deep expertise in clinical care, hospital operations, P&L management, healthcare IT, compliance, and medico-legal affairs. A trained clinician and surgeon (Obstetrician & Gynecologist) with 17+ years of hands-on patient care, she has successfully transitioned into strategic leadership roles, consistently delivering results in operational excellence and organizational growth.
Dr. Vasudha has held critical roles in hospital transformation — notably leading P&L functions and turning around underperforming hospitals to achieve positive EBITDA. As Head of Medical & Nursing Services at the group level, she played a key role in standardizing clinical and operational processes across a hospital network, enhancing revenue performance, driving cost efficiencies, and improving the overall quality of care.
She led the successful integration of Vikram Hospital into the Manipal Hospitals network post-acquisition, overseeing process alignment and the implementation of Hospital Information Systems (HIS), with a vision to drive Electronic Medical Records (EMR) adoption and clinical digitalization.
Currently serving as Senior Director – Operations, Dr. Vasudha guides HIS implementation, clinical workflow digitization, clinical module adoption across the Manipal Hospitals network and leads Manipal Hospitals Radiology group along with teleradiology. She also collaborates closely with the Manipal Foundation, supporting CSR initiatives in healthcare delivery.
