Overview:

Dr. Rajesh Helavar is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist and Diagnostic Abdominal Radiologist at Columbia Asia Radiology Group. He started his career as a Consultant Radiologist in 2011 with Columbia Asia Hospitals India and comes with a rich experience of more than nine years in the field.

I am a motivated and experienced Consultant Radiologist since 2013 and presently at Manchester University Foundation Trust, Wythenshawe. I specialise in breast and head and neck radiology. I have obtained my Medical Degree from the then Bombay University as a student of Grant Medical College and JJ group of Hospitals. I trained in Radiology in the United Kingdom and obtained the FRCR in 2011. I have also obtained an MS in General surgery (year 2000) from Mumbai University as a student of the Seth GS Medical College and MRCS (year 2004) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Clinical Experience:

Breast Radiology (symptomatic and screening) – one stop and assessment clinics, image guided procedures (including use of stereo, tomo and MRI) and reporting of all the above-mentioned modalities and leading MDTs
